Oshawa Zoo Canada Day Fundraiser

This Canada Day, join us at the zoo for an unforgettable experience and support a member of the Dan Plowman Team community! Nadia, a passionate animal lover and aspiring veterinarian, is fundraising for her vet school dreams. The zoo will be hosting animal interactions and a face painting booth where you can purchase beautiful face paintings and temporary tattoos (cash only). All proceeds from the face painting and the other half of the 50/50 raffle will go directly towards Nadia's vet school fund, helping her turn her dreams into reality.

When: July 1st, 2023 from 10am - 5pm

Whitby Ribfest

Enjoy a great line up of awesome entertainment, savour the best ribs, laugh while taking advantage of a full midway experience, shop at the many marketplace vendors, and welcome a cold beverage on a hot summer weekend.

When: Friday, July 7th - Sunday, July 9th

Teddy Bear Picnic

This event is a perfect way to enjoy some time outside on the beautiful grounds of Parkview Estate. Bring a blanket, your favourite teddy bear and your favourite people to Parkwood and enjoy a fun Teddy Bear Picnic!

When: Friday, July 14th from 11:30am - 1pm

Where: Parkwood Estate National Historic Site, Oshawa

Yoga In The Garden

Come down to the Henry House Heritage Gardens and enjoy a morning of Yoga in the Garden, in partnership with Durham Yogi Community. Yoga in the Garden runs every Friday morning, at 9AM, until August 18. Admission is free, however donations to the Oshawa museum are appreciated.

Movies in the Park

Grab your blankets, lawn chairs and popcorn and join us for an unforgettable evenings under the stars. Movies are shown on a large, outdoor screen with concert quality sound at Whitby Civic Park (behind Town Hall) starting at dusk.

Craft Brewery Day

Come out and sample some offerings from local craft breweries for an great event. Watch horse racing while supporting local businesses.

When: Saturday, July 16th from 12:55pm to 6pm

Sunflower Field Experience- Pet Friendly!

Come walk one of Bowmanville's oldest farms as they celebrate 180 years at Bragg Farms. They make Bragg's Wild Birdseed and so in the month of July starting on the 22nd and running for 3-4 weeks you can enjoy our black oil sunflower fields as they bloom by walking beautifully designed paths amongst 80,000 sunflowers. Enjoy field props and family memories! 

When: Saturday, July 22nd and ongoing into August

Peppa Pig Live

Come join Peppa on an exciting camping trip in the woods with George and her school friends, including Pedro Pony, Suzy Sheep and Gerald Giraffe. Little piggies everywhere will love this 60-minute live musical experience! 

When: Wednesday, July 26th 

Where: Tribute Communities Centre, Oshawa
